One of the most important issues for professional tourists is finding various destinations for vacation. Most of them visit tourism guide websites and magazines in order to find better destinations to travel.


In the past few years, these websites have mentioned Iran, one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Climate variation of Iran is one of the main reasons for choosing the country as a great traveling destination.

Generally, Iran has a beautiful and unique nature with a wide range of variety. On the other hand, tourists prefer to travel to every country to become familiar with their culture.

it is obvious that Iranian people have their pure and specific culture and it is very attractive for tourists from all over the world. we want to introduce some tourist attractions of Iran in this article in order to prove that Iran is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.

 

Dasht-e Kavir

The Dasht-e Kavir is one of the vast deserts not only in Iran but also in Asia. It is located in the center of the Iranian plateau partitioned between Semnan, Tehran, Khorasan, Isfahan, and Yazd provinces. The Dasht-e Kavir is also known as the world’s 26th large desert of the world with a total surface area of 77600 sq km (30000 sq mi).

Its night sky is really beautiful and relaxing which is a motivation for people from all over the world to travel and visit the deserts of Iran.

The summer is the best time to visit deserts of Iran especially the Dasht-e Kavir and stay there overnight.

 

Dasht-e Lut

Iran has another great desert that is located in the southeast of Iran. Just like the Dasht-e Kavir, the main motivation for tourists to visit the Dasht-e Lut is its Calm and Spectacular nights.

In 2016, Dasht-e Lut was inscribed as Iran’s first and only natural UNESCO World Heritage site for being an exceptional example of ongoing geological processes.

It is also known as one of the hottest places on earth, it has reached a record temperature of 159.3°F (70.7°C), beating the previous record held by El Azizia, Libya in 2005.

 

Badab-e Surt

Many tourists around the world are aware of Pamukkale springs in Turkey. But unfortunately, most of them don’t know anything about Badab-e Surt in Iran.

Badab-e Surt is a natural phenomenon consisted of two separate mineral springs that have made a step-like landform by their flow during thousands of years.

Different minerals from these springs have created red, orange, yellow and blue colors alongside each other. The diversity of colors in these springs is unique in the world.

Accurately this geological phenomenon is located in Mazandaran province, 95 kilometers (59 mi) south of the city Sari, and 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) west of Orost village. The best time for tourists to visit the Badab-e Surt is April. In the Spring and especially April, the natural landscape of the area is considerably beautiful.

 

Masal Highlands

For nature lovers and people who need relaxation in a natural and beautiful place, Masal Village is a great trip destination. Masal is a village located in Gilan Province with spectacular natural landscapes. It is surrounded by mountains, jungles, caves, and waterfalls. Its climate is considered proper for tourists who want to escape from polluted cities. Masal Highlands is also a great destination for climbers especially because of its unique landscapes.

 

Turkmen Sahra

The area is located in Golestan Province, in the north of Iran which Borders Turkmenistan and the Caspian Sea.

The most famous landmark of the area is the Khalid Nabi cemetery, known for hundreds of mysterious genitalia-shaped tombstones. Also, Gonbad-e Qabus, an 11th-century Ziyriad tower and UNESCO World Heritage site are the tourist attractions of Turkmen Sahra.

 

Margoon Waterfall

There are a lot of waterfalls in Iran, but some of them are more famous among the people in the world. One of the greatest waterfalls in Iran is Margoon Waterfall.

 It is located around Shiraz, one of the historic cities of Iran. The region is also home to several plant communities and wildlife, including eagles, bears, hyenas, and boars. So protecting the environment is one of the most important responsibilities for tourists that visit the Margoon Waterfall area and any other natural place in Iran.
